What an exhilarating feeling!To gather together with over 800 individuals – young and old alike – from every part of our community and to listen to Holocaust survivor Mrs. Eva Schloss, Anne Frank’s step sister was a true privilege.The sparkle in Eva’s eyes, her upbeat demeanor and her refreshing disposition was contagious. All of us were deeply impacted on Monday night at this historic and momentous evening.Valley Chabad’s Eternal Flame program is proud to carry Eva’s message: “Having faith in humanity, faith in God and a positive upbeat perspective on life can ultimately restore you after the darkest of times” In the name of the millions of martyrs whose memories are honored and whose shortened lives are illuminated by Valley Chabad’s Eternal Flame, and in the name of the thousands of us whose lives are brightened by that illumination – Thank You.
